Countless hours, days, months. All had been a struggle to continue on. At first there was no purpose. Only a voided will to keep a simple phase of existence... even if it was not living at all. Battle both physically and mentally, enough to question why continue. It was simple. This was a state of mind that was foreign to the concept of life. To feel... to endure the hardships. Pain is always a part of life. In the midst of your battles, whether it be an entire war thrust upon you, in the end... Life makes it all worth while from taking on all the suffering. It's all a matter of patience.

When we win our first battle, it will be the milestone to a greater calling.

In the end, we will win our battles if we strive to continue on. Despite out broken bodies. The spirit and the soul live on continuously.
